NEW INLINE RINK MANAGEMENT

The Southwest Ohio Inline Hockey Association (SOHA) is pleased to announce they will begin operating the Inline Rink at The Sphere as of November 1, 2011.  SOHA is a “not-for-profit” organization that has been in existence for almost 15 years.  Originally formed to promote Inline Hockey at the High School level, SOHA is now expanding their role to encompass all age groups. 

SOHA will initially focus on two areas: (1) stabilizing then growing the Adult league through organization and communication; and (2) developing a Youth league by saturating the local area and schools with information about inline hockey and providing them with attractively priced opportunities to join the sport.   

SOHA is comprised of Executive Board members, League Managers, Team Representatives (Coaches / Captains), players and various others.

SOHA will be holding informational meetings for any interested persons on Sunday, October 23, 2011, near the inline office at 11:00am and 3:00pm.  We will be discussing various topics - AAU Membership, House Rules, Use of Substitute Players, etc.  It is strongly recommended that Sunday Adult league players and captains attend to learn about the installation of a player rating system and how it will affect teams next season.
